A furniture enterprise that was to become the face of furniture industry in Chennai grew from the inventiveness and courage of a teenager who single-handedly set up, manufactured and marketed his produce from his one-man workshop to British clientele.

After Mr. Elumalai passed on, Shri E. Rajendran, the younger son, induced his master plan and provided the ideal facelift, thereby entering the category of Wooden Furniture. He imbibed his engineering ideas to mechanize the production of wooden furniture and orchestrate global furniture with ease. This period witnessed a transition in the furniture making process from man-made to machine-made.
